GOLF COURSE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

We want to provide a brief update on The Score at Cottonfields redevelopment. While visible construction activity remains limited, important progress continues as we move through the final stages of the City of Phoenix approval process.

We are currently awaiting issuance of the final plat, which is the last key step needed before full construction operations can resume. Our team is prepared and positioned to restart major work promptly once this approval is received.

In the meantime, the property remains actively managed. Maintenance crews and limited personnel continue to care for the site, and we are working closely with our property management team to address golf course conditions and community concerns. Keeping the course safe, orderly, and maintained during this transition period remains a priority.

We understand that progress can sometimes feel slow during municipal review phases, and we sincerely appreciate your continued patience. Our commitment to delivering a high-quality golf course and long-term community asset has not wavered, and we look forward to sharing more visible progress soon.

Important Notice – Construction in Progress at The Score at Cottonfields

Dear Cottonfields Homeowners,

We are excited to share with you that construction is well underway at The Score at Cottonfields golf course. Our construction team is working hard to grade and shape the course to bring an exceptional golfing experience to your community.

 For your safety, we kindly ask all community members to stay off the golf course during construction. The site contains heavy equipment, unstable terrain, and other hazards that make it extremely dangerous for pedestrians, pets, and unauthorized vehicles. If you notice any suspicious or unauthorized activity on the golf course, please contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151.

We understand the excitement surrounding this project, and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping the construction area clear while our team works to complete the course as efficiently and safely as possible.

Project Status

Exciting News from Laveen140!

We are excited to share the news that the HOA board and their private attorney have completed a complete legal audit of the 307 signed consents.  

While initially only 301 signatures were needed for this amendment, we surpassed that number with 307 signed consents.

It seems the board has chosen to exclude any delinquent dues-paying homeowners. Under that scenario, only 272 consents were required, which we have also satisfied.

We are elated to move forward with the amendment, commence the golf course reconstruction, and complete the residential rezoning. 

This significant milestone is a testament to the work of many of your neighbors, friends, and residents. We are so grateful for your support and we look forward to executing this new opportunity together.
